Re: hpe server
Good day!
You may try the below instructions:
1. Check Power and Connections
> Ensure that the server is powered on.
> Verify that the power cables are securely connected.
> Check the power supply unit to ensure it's functioning properly.
> Ensure all cables, including video cables, are properly connected.
2. Monitor/Display Connection
> Verify that the monitor is turned on and functioning.
> Check the connection between the server and the monitor. Ensure the cable is securely connected to both the server and the monitor.
> If possible, try using a different monitor or cable to eliminate potential issues.
3. Remote Management
> If your HPE server has remote management capabilities (iLO - Integrated Lights-Out, for example), try accessing the server remotely using the management interface. This can help determine if the issue is with the physical display or if it's a deeper server problem.
4. Hardware Issues
> Inspect the server for any obvious signs of hardware issues, such as loose components, damaged cables, or faulty hardware.
> Reseat components such as RAM modules, expansion cards, and the graphics card if applicable.
5. Diagnostic LEDs
> Check for any diagnostic LEDs on the server's motherboard or front panel. Refer to the server's manual for the meaning of specific LED patterns, as they can provide valuable information about the system's status.
6. BIOS/UEFI Settings
> If possible, access the server's BIOS/UEFI settings during the boot process. Check if the display is working in this environment. You can often enter the BIOS/UEFI by pressing a specific key during the boot process (commonly Del, F2, or Esc).
7. Update Firmware/BIOS
> Ensure that your server's firmware, including the BIOS, is up to date. Check the HPE support website for the latest firmware updates and follow the recommended procedures for updating.
If the issue persists and you are unable to identify the problem, it's advisable to contact HPE support for further assistance.
We hope it helps! Let me know..
