What if there are many disks in vg01 when using LVM-Mirror?

There are 10 100GB disks in vg01.
If you want to mirror two 500GB disks

lvextend -m 1 /dev/vg01/lvol1

Can I just use the command like this?

Move data through LVM-mirror
I want to rip out my existing storage.
