DRD clone for HP-UX 11i V3 on Superdome 2

Dynamic Root Disk clone :


I have couple of SD-2 systems running but none of them is backedup for years. I need to take Backup on those .SO need help sharing step by step of taking DRD clone .I have couple of queries too .

1. is it possible to take backup on live production system?

2. will there be any dependency when to take backup?

Hi Mehedi91,

DRD enables you to easily and safely clone a system image from a root disk to another disk on the same system and modify the image without shutting down the system.

You need available free disks for DRD cloning.
