StoreEasy 1650 + Linux

Hello everyone I am looking to harden a VEEAM environment by migrating existing data to an inmutable repository hosted on Linux. This particular customer has this storage (which I've never seen before now) and I was wondering if the current Windows Server installation could be replaced by a Linux OS and mount drives/repository there for VEEAM to use as backup repository. Can this be done? Thanks!

Yes, it is possible to replace the current Windows Server installation with a Linux OS and mount drives/repository there for Veeam to use as a backup repository. Veeam supports additional backup repositories on both Windows and Linux servers. You can create a single virtual pool of backup storage to which backups can be assigned, offering the freedom to easily extend backup storage capacity.
