-DQS-F-BADQUE, specified queue not valid for DQS access
I have a generic queue on a local VMS server (let's call it P54814_GEN) that is using DQS to access another print queue on a remote server.
However whenever I attempt to print a doccument to P54814_GEN, I get the following error messages:
%DQS-W-SHUTDOWN, shutting down queue P54814_GEN because of error
-DQS-W-MSG_REMOTE, remote system error:
-DQS-F-BADQUE, specified queue not valid for DQS access
Is there something I need to do to P54814_GEN on the local server or on the remote server to get it to work with DQS?
Please advise,
- Ron

Ron,
searching for 'DQS-F-BADQUE' in your favourite search engine might lead you to:
Distributed Queuing Service User's Guide (vmssoftware.com)
which contains some examples and explanations for this kind of error.
