Memory upgrade for Synergy 480 Gen 10 (871942-B21

Dear community,

What is the difference between 2933Y-R and 2933Y-L memory speeds.

Also, can you intermix 32GB 2933Y-R Dimm (P00924-B21) with 64GB 2933Y-L Dimm (P03054-791) on Synergy 480 Gen10 Server (871942-B21).

Hi @otyheno1 

In the Quickspecs (Page No. 26) , I can see the product ID for Load reduced DIMM as P11040-B21 instead of P03054-791.  
Please verify once.

 

Please note that Load-reduced and Reduced DIMMs are not mixed. So, you cannot use both L and LR DIMMs at the same time on the same server.
